Lesson 1:  Contracting

Thank you for your interest in contracting with Bright Health. Please see the instructions below to begin the Bright Health contracting process. For more information regarding Bright Health, you can access the website at: Bright Health website You are able to contract for both Medicare and/or ACA through this contracting process. Be sure to have the following information available as you may need to upload it during contracting: SSN & NPN AHIP and/or Marketplace Certificate E&O insurance Banking information Contracting You will be receiving an onboarding invitation directly from the Bright Health contracting system. Select the login link and use the User ID and temporary password provided to you. You will then be asked to create your own password. Select the onboarding link to begin the contracting process Enter your SSN and NPN. The system will immediately validate you against the NIPR database Select each tab and fill in all the information requested. The tab will show as incomplete if any needed information is missing. On the license tab you will be asked to select the states you want to be appointed in as well as the line of business. You can select Individual ACA, Medicare or both. IMPORTANT: You will also need to select the GA and FMO – scroll down and select Plan Advisors to be aligned correctly. You will be asked for Banking information for the commission deposit. IMPORTANT - If you are assigning commissions, be sure to check the “Agency” box and do NOT put in your banking information. IMPORTANT: You will be asked to sign some forms electronically. You must type your name exactly as it appeared on the first tab and your insurance license record. If your NIPR record uses a middle initial or name you must use it to sign your documents or the signature will not match. After the tab forms are completed, you will be brought directly to certification. This process will take about 15 minutes. When all forms and certifications are “complete,” it is time to do the final submission.
